Basic and extended administration

Any physical or virtual server, regardless of the tariff plan, requires the installation and configuration of software. If you do not want to perform the server setup and maintenance yourself, you can delegate some of these chores to us.

We can provide the full range of administration services, from maintaining the operating system in a working condition to the full control over the server operation. The specific zone of our responsibility will be specified in the SLA.

Operating System Maintenance

Setup and maintenance of the operating system are routine tasks that require the services of qualified professionals. Delegate them to us and focus on more important things, the ones you needed the server for in the first place.

The Operating System Maintenance package includes:
  • template-based initial setup of the Windows Server or Linux operating system;

  • setup of remote access to the operating system and granting of administrator rights;

  • automatic monitoring of server performance;

  • troubleshooting;

  • preventive maintenance (incl. Installation of updates etc.);

  • data backup on the server (daily, with 7-day depth of storage);

  • maintenance of logs and storage of log files;

  • consultations on the services you use.

You will received administrative access and will be able to manage the applications, but will not be able to perform any action that may interfere with the performance of the Parking.ru systems. All these provisions are part of the SLA.

If you problem is not caused by an operating system fault, we will not be able to rectify it as part of this package.

Comprehensive Administration

Comprehensive Administration means guaranteed performance in accordance with the parameters specified in the SLA.

In addition to the operating system maintenance, the Comprehensive Administration package includes a number of services provided by experts, including:

  • individual setup of the operating system during the installation (incl. setting it up for the required role, such as a web server, terminal server, file or DNS server etc.), and re-installation of OS;

  • analysis of the operating system logs, base and application software;

  • projection of resource utilization and the need for parameter adjustment;

  • setup for optimum performance and adjustment of parameters;

  • setup for data backup and restoration per individual requirements;

  • development and maintenance of non-standard systems and security settings;

  • traffic control and analysis, utilization and adjustment of IPS/IDS systems;

  • setup of the database server software based on MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.

  • setup of mail server based on MS Exchange, sendmail etc.;

  • setup of corporate portals based on MS SharePoint;

  • setup of communications system based on MS Lync;

  • setup of client infrastructure based on MS System Center;

  • setup of virtual infrastructure based on MS Hyper-V and VMware vCenter;

  • creation and maintenance of high-load failover clusters;

  • 24-hour access to technical support.

This package will not give you administrative access. However, if you need it, we can develop an pattern of interaction that will meet your needs without detriment to performance or security.

The cost of comprehensive administration is calculated for the specific project and depends on the requirements to performance and failover protection, as well as on the architecture and complexity of the system, the number of administered facilities, architecture and type of the user agreement, complexity of interaction with external systems and a multitude of other parameters.

SLA и NDA

Service Level Agreement (SLA) contains all the key terms and conditions, specifically:
  • description and distribution of the areas of responsibility;

  • guaranteed accessibility parameters;

  • procedure and time frame of preventive maintenance;

  • guaranteed performance;

  • monitoring and data backup parameters;

  • technical support accessibility and turnaround time;

  • responsibilities of the user and Parking.ru

SLA is executed when dedicated hosting services are required. SLA is an integral part of and an exhibit to the contract.

Non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

NDA contains the provisions for non-disclosure by Parking.ru of the user information that becomes available to Parking.ru in the course of performance of the contract. NDA contains the description of the confidential information, the description of the measures to ensure confidentiality, and the liability of the parties.
